We are still pretty new to homeschooling, and even though we have one year under our belt next year I will be schooling both of my girls.
It will be a little different next year;
I will be doing both preschool and first grade.
My prayer is still for wisdom.
James says, "If you need wisdom—if you want to know what God wants you to do—ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking."
This choice brings with it a huge responsibility. Like every parent, we want what is best for our children and we believe that for us, this is the richest life possible. Before we had children I was a high school English teacher. I have a deep love for reading and literature, but the overwhelming passion of our lives is Christ. My personal goal is to impart to my children a similar love for reading, learning, and literature. But more than anything our goal as a family is that our children would learn to know Christ personally as their Lord and Savior.
May the Lord teach us, as we teach our girls.
"For the LORD grants wisdom!
From his mouth come knowledge and understanding"
Proverbs 2:6
